You do not want your wine room to look over-decorated. Eliminating curved lines and embellishments can help you achieve a minimalist look. At Wine Cellars Designers Group, we recommend contemporary wine displays for residential and commercial wine cellars. We will provide tips on how to design contemporary-style wine rooms.
Effective Ways to Build Contemporary Wine Displays
When building a wine cellar, one of the most important questions to ask yourself is, “What style do you want for your wine room?” Sleek and luxurious wine rooms are increasing in demand among homeowners, entrepreneurs, builders, designers, and contractors.
At Wine Cellar Designers Group, we have the skills and experience in creating contemporary wine displays. Our team has completed impressive wine rooms with a sleek look.
If you love to host wine-tasting parties in your home, an eye-catching wine display can add a feeling of luxury to your wine room and can also be a conversation starter. If you are an owner of a restaurant, retail store, bar, or hotel, a high-end wine display will attract potential customers and boost wine sales.
We offer innovative wine storage solutions that suit every budget. You do not have to break the bank to have a luxurious display for your wine collection. You can achieve contemporary design by following these tips:
Use Simple Patterns with Metal Wine Racks
Intricate patterns, including curved lines and colorful embellishments, are eliminated when creating contemporary wine displays. To help us achieve a minimalist look, we use metal wine racks.
Metal is a popular material integrated into modern designs. It is lightweight and allows for design flexibility. Wine racks made from metal can be easily installed in tiny corners of a room, making them ideal for small wine cellars.
At Wine Cellar Designers Group, we use metal wine racks in building wine cellars with contemporary wine displays. We work with top-notch suppliers of metal wine storage systems.
VintageView Metal Wine Racks
VintageView has proven its reliability in manufacturing metal wine rack systems. Their products are widely used in building contemporary wine rooms for residential and commercial applications.
VintageView metal wine racks are designed with a label-forward bottle configuration, which allows for easy perusal of the wines. There is no need to flip the bottles to see the wine description, preventing the sediments from being disturbed. Flipping the bottle can affect the texture of the wine. Some styles of VintageView wine racks are the Evolution Series, Wall-Mount Series, and Vino Pins Series.
Evolution Series Wine Racks
The Evolution Series consists of standalone wine racks made from high-quality stainless-steel rods with acrylic supports. You may choose to customize the height and width of these wine racks to meet your needs. The steel rods are available in Chrome Steel and Satin Black.
Wall Mounted Wine Racks
The Wall Mounted Series wine racks are perfect for small and narrow spaces because they do not occupy floor space. One of these is the Vino Series, which is made of acrylic and aluminum pins. Each pair of pins can hold one bottle in a label-forward configuration. The pins can be arranged to create sophisticated contemporary wine displays on walls. The design is limited by your imagination. Other Wall Mounted Series wine racks are the Evolution Wine Wall Series and W Series.
STACT Wine Racks
STACT wine racks are also widely used in creating contemporary wine displays. This style of metal wine storage system can bring your boring walls to life. Using backer boards and aluminum bottle supports, we will create a wine display that will highlight your prized collection beautifully.
The wood panels come in different finishes. You can combine and arrange them to meet the look that you desire for your wine cellar. The bottle supports are made from a durable material to bear the weight of the bottles and secure them in place.
Ultra PEG Wine Racks
The PEG systems from Ultra Wine Racks & Cellars are also ideal for contemporary wine displays. They offer wine pegs, wine rails, fusion wine walls, and fusion panels. The pegs are crafted out of high-quality metal and coated in a matte black or brushed aluminum finish.
Incorporate Glass Components
Glass is another essential element in creating contemporary wine displays. When building high-end wine cellars, we always incorporate glass walls and doors into the design. Glass wine rooms look classy. They also allow a clear view of the wines from the outside.
Use Monochromatic or Neutral Colors
Another way to create contemporary wine displays is by using monochromatic or neutral colors. Monochromatic colors create a serene ambiance and can exhibit a distinctive personality. Choose a color you are comfortable with, and we will incorporate the tones into your contemporary wine display.
Neutral colors create a welcoming atmosphere, especially when mixed with metal and glass elements in contemporary wine displays.
Examples of Contemporary Wine Displays Built y Member of Wine Cellar Designers Group
Wine Cellar Designers Group is composed of experts in building contemporary wine displays. Let us learn more about some of the projects they completed.
Home Wine Cellar with Contemporary Wine Racks by Harvest Custom Wine Cellars
Harvest Harvest Custom Wine Cellars is a professional builder of wine cellars in Virginia. With extensive experience in the industry, there is no doubt they consistently exceed their client’s expectations. An avid collector of wines from various regions in the United States hired them for a wine room conversion project. The homeowner wanted a contemporary wine display for his collection.
The Harvest team, led by Tim Wright, installed VintageView wall-mounted wine racks on the left and right walls. They added a lighting system to highlight the bottles attractively.
Contemporary Wine Cellar by Wine Cellar Specialists
Wine Cellar Specialists is another member of the Wine Cellar Designers Group. Their team has garnered awards for many of their wine room projects. One of these is the wine cellar they created for a home in Dallas, Texas.
In this project, we installed the PEG system from Ultra Wine Racks & Cellars. The stainless-steel rods were installed on a backer board. Every bottle is held in two pegs with the cork facing out. In the middle section, Wine Cellar Specialists added custom-made pegs to accommodate the large-format bottles in the client’s collection. The pegs are larger than the pegs at the top and bottom section, and the bottles are displayed horizontally.
