Michael studied business at Cal Poly with a minor in Wine and Viticulture. His 1st job out of college was running the tasting room at Concannon Vineyard in Livermore, CA. He started with Concannon in 2000 and was with them for about a year. He then made the decision to transition in the wine cellar/wine accessory business and started as a district manager for a company called Wine Hardware. About 5 years ago he and his wife Cari had the opportunity to purchase the company so they took full advantage of it.

Michael and his team at Wine Hardware are now members of the Wine Cellar Designers Group and the premiere designer and builder for Custom Wine Cellars San Francisco.
